Mule Deer Hunting

Idaho is known for trophy class mule deer hunting. However, at King Mountain Ranch we only offer hunting options to archery hunters. Most of the herd on the ranch are does and fawns with an occasional buck. We prefer hunters that are not just trophy hunters.

As a guest at King Mountain Ranch, Mule Deer hunting access can be purchased for $30. For a party of two or more, it is $25 each.

First priority is granted to those who are Short-Term Renters of the Pioneer Home or Farm House, hunting access is granted to you free of charge as long as you have scheduled prior on the Hunting Calendar. In the case that someone has already scheduled on the calendar, then King Mountain Ranch will be divided, or renting parties will collaborate with the hunter that previously scheduled. As soon the reservation is over, so are your access rights to the property. Unless you pay the additional #30 fee.

The $30 fee will grant each hunter permission to do the following:
– Land access for 3 days where you will have permission to hunt the entire King Mountain Ranch Hunting. If another hunter contacts you that has paid their $30, and would like to hunt during your three day period, you can choose. If by chance someone rents King Mountain Pioneer Home, or the Farm House, the King Mountain Ranch will be divided and Hunters are to collaborate for a safe enjoyable hunt.

– Options to hunt any other time during archery season if a. you have checked the calendar the morning of the day you’d like to hunt, and it is open in on that day you’d like to go. Or (2)if you have contacted the hunter who has scheduled and set up arrangements together. In both cases add your name to the calendar so we know who is on our property. Please fill out the email address field when you pay so we can give you calendar access to choose your dates.

After King Mountain Receives your payment, we will add your email to the calendar below, and send you the link found under the calendar to access it. Make sure to reserve three days now, and then check back the day of to see if you can go again.
